Cluck, Grunt, and Low - 362 Bloor St. W
I was so prepared for the bbq joint that Toronto was in such dire need of. My analogy of how I was let down would be as follows. It was like buying a Porsche with flat tires and a flaming bag of shit in the drivers seat. Sure you're excited you got the Porsche, but a little let down about the overall delivery.
The portions varied, small on brisket, good on ribs. Although I found most of the food horribly overcooked and not especially falling off the bone. There was nothing in the bbq realm that I felt I couldn't make myself, in short, it was a flop. The service was fine, the atmosphere was faux ranch? with the bloodied smattering of UFC fighting plastered on the plasma screens. What I learned, lamb ribs are pretencious, over cooked bbq is criminal, and ordering cranberry juice makes people think you have a yeast infection.
