Some Recent Life Reviews, and crap
Ok so I'm going to review a bunch of stuff that's recently happened. Why not? I've fully embraced the critique!
Greasy Breakfast at Sneaky Dee's
Always seems like a great idea, why do I do it?! I'm like a young Inder, so excited about the quantity and the price, then I drown in a shallow pool of grease. Just don't be fooled people, go for the mexican breakfast which always looks tasty and considerably healthier.
2.7 out of 10...it's just too greasy
Gone baby Gone
Who knew that the Afflecks could be so cool? Racking my brain to think of a fourth best movie this year, and I think we have a weiner! Slick script, not mega tight but good (which even good is hard to find). This film is all about Casey Affleck's character, and his unwavering resolve to stick to a principle, and for that one aspect alone this movie is a hit to me. I really believe that when they were writing this and the producers probably tried to augment Affleck's character, somehow there insistancy to remain true was heard. I hate to say, but a very good first effort from Ben Affleck on directing as well.

Allie's Mexican Dip
I know, it's really ballsy to review your fiance's food, but I'm doing it baby! Allie is not well known as culinary wizard, and maybe because she thinks she can't cook. I beg to differ, now I think if you know me, I'm no homer. I also like have the chops to do the cooking around here, so you know I wouldn't lie to y'all. Having never made a mexican dip myself, but having eaten a lot of it, this is what I'd say. The flavours were similar to a good store bought dip, with a tad more garlic (which works for me), the layers were impressive to me very colourful and evenly represented which goes a long way in the taste as well. It also lasted about 4 1/2 minutes between a hungry crowd whose eyes lit up at the site of it. It was an instant crowd pleaser, and I saw someone scrapping the plastic wrap for the surface reminants, so for that I give it
8.4 out of 10, that's my girl!
EDIT - After a conversation with Allie as to why her dip scored so low, I feel obliged to change her original 7.3 out of 10 to the now proper and respectable 8.4 Her arguement was sound. If this is a dip that tastes excellent and better than the one I am so used to why does it score lowly? I explained that on a lack of originality it scored low, however, if a good ceasar salad is good because it is much like the original should it score low? I agree that a classic can still rank high, and thus the reflected change in grade. That is a first for me to change, however, it has me thinking that perhaps I was too low on Terroni as well....thoughts?
My fantasy draft
What contraversy! I miss my best friends birthday to attend the draft, I get some crazy picks, I'm in dead last, and I'm still loving it!!!!! I have an injured Dwayne Wade and I need assists, but I've got a good gut feeling that if I stick to this team, I'm going to be happily rewarded. This is totally cocky, especially after being swept in the first week, but I'm giving my team a future
4th place finish!!!!
Dinner at Geoff's on Sunday
Delicious, charming, great hard wood floors, tasty wine, 5 course meal, and Brazilia on google maps. What's not to like here?
8.1 out of 10, I will return the favour...if possible
