Gorillaz - D Sides
I love the Gorillaz, but this album ain't much to write home about, Damien Albarn apparently has a bunch of new projects on the go, spelling the end for Gorillaz.
The track 'We're all happy landfill' is cool, grimy. And the reproduced 'Hong Kong' gives Albarn a little more honest quality to his vocals, the production is amazing. However, it is the mediocre and the throw aways of a band that is more talented than it wants to admit.

Seeing a guy get glassed outside of Paupers on a Friday night
Seriously, you'd think I'd be all over this one and giving it great reviews. However, when you see a guys face cracked like a mirror on the ground, drunk and bloody and surprisingly coherant, it's just amazing that he wasn't more injured. Not to mention the guy who did the glassing ran away like the chickenshit he was.

Saturday hangover farts
WTF ass? Someone's ass woke up on the grumpy stinky side today. I had episodes during a client meeting today where I would slip into a day dream of me walking outside and letting go of a huge fart and feeling so much better. That sadly never happened.
Here's another daydream I had:

Le Paradis Restaurant 166 Bedford Road
Like Terroni, this is classic french cuisine. Although I rarely go for the dinner, it is consistant. It is the lunch that I'm in it for. Now they have a $10 menu, which features a three course meal. It's excellent value. I had lentil soup, classic french using Depuis lentils. Soft and delicate texture, a simple winner. The croque monsieur is a french gem, hurray for the dawn of the croque, nothing else to say. French 'frites', je me souviens. Yum. People this is a must if you haven't gone. Really great food for the price, this place will never leave Toronto.
